Helping Mommy Pack

Tomorrow mommy is going on vacation and I'm sad because I guess I can't go with. Mommy says this is just for her and that I am going to stay home and spend time with daddy. I decided to help mommy with her packing at least and make sure she's bringing all the important things she'll need. So with mommy gone that means no blogging until next week. See you then!!

No, I'm not crying...just making a face. Maybe it's because mommy says she'll bring her own toothbrush because I'll need mine to brush my teeth while she's gone.

Playtime with Friends

Yesterday mommy had a meeting for the MOMS Club that she belongs at her friend Donita's house. I like playing there because there's always a lot to do. Mommy says we're going to make a habit of playing there once a week so I can play with other kids. I think I did pretty well yesterday though. We stayed for two and a half hours, had a snack on the short drive home and then I took a nap for an hour and a half! But I got to play with some good friends and can't wait to to back!!!

This is when we first got there, some of the kids were still sleeping so I patiently waited for them to wake up.

Right as mommy took this picture I got up. I can't sit still for very long but all four of us were really playing together.

I don't know what's wrong with this book, there aren't any pages in it!

New Desk

Along with my car ramp, which can I just say I LOVE, papa & mommy found me this desk at the garage sales we went to last weekend. Papa said he negotiated a good price for it. Mommy says it's either going to go in my new room, I'm moving into a bigger room this fall, or in the basement which mommy is cleaning up so I have a place to run this winter. Either way I'm already getting some good use out of it. It has little cubby's to put crayons, cups and cars. A light which I love to turn on and off and lots of space for me to do my work. Mommy says it's going to help prepare me for school, which isn't for a while yet but I think I'll be ready!

Car Ramp

Yesterday mommy, grandma, papa and I went garage sailing. A nearby town is celebrating a big event and every year at this time they have a huge city wide garage sale. Mommy says there's nothing wrong with buying good, used, cheap toys and that's exactly what she did. Not only did I get a new Vikings Outfit, which I will proudly wear for our first game tomorrow, but I also got a new desk for coloring, a turtle sandbox and this car ramp for my Matchbox cars. I am all about my Matchbox cars now and she got me this car ramp for only $4.00! I could hardly contain my excitement once mommy got it cleaned up for me and I could play with it. I haven't stopped playing since and mommy says this might be the best buy ever!

Last Days of Summer

Since we don't have many nice sunny days left to play outside mommy says we're now on a mission to spend as much time as we can outdoors. Today we played outside for a REALLY long time and I had a lot of fun. And of course mommy says I ran off some much needed energy.

First mommy and I played catch with my ball. I ran all over chasing that ball, but it was fun.

Then I had to help mommy do a little gardening.

Next it was onto sidewalk art, I colored all over the patio and steps. I also managed to get colors all over my hands, shoes, shorts and shirt, but who cares?

Here's some of my artwork, mommy helped me with some of the bigger words. She says if we don't get a good rain storm soon this will probably still be here next spring.

What's So Funny?

Yea....I'm not sure what was so funny. Maybe it's the idea that I'm finally over being sick, don't have to have my nose wiped 100 x's a day, take my medicine, and I get to be outside once more. Or maybe the simple fact of hiding in the laundry room and running out is enough to make anyone laugh!!
