My Friend Neb

Today I got to meet a new friend. His name is Nebulizer, I call him Neb. Mommy says he is here to help me feel better. I got him today after mommy, daddy and I spent an hour at the doctors office trying to get me to feel better. That's because I started coughing a few days ago and last night mommy says someone turned a switch on in me because I coughed every 20-30 seconds all night long. Mommy says it was the longest night she can ever remember having. I also have an earache and have medicine to help that and my runny nose. But the best part about my new friend Neb is that when we play we both get to watch my favorite show, Blues Clues. Mommy says Neb won't be around forever and that someday soon I'll have to say goodbye. But until then, I'll play with Neb all I can so I can watch my favorite shows!

License to Drive

Today daddy came home early and he, mommy and I went outside for my usual afternoon of playing. I don't have any outdoor toys yet but today mommy let me play with my friend Roman's car and mommy says she now knows what to look for at garage sales this summer. She says she's been looking all over for one but wanted to make sure I would actually play with it before buying it. Let me just say that I did NOT want to come inside and was perfectly happy for the hour I was outside driving my car. I’m already thinking of the freedom that will come in 15 years when I get my license.....I can hardly wait. But mommy can.

On Saturday my Uncle Tim and cousin's Ellie and Charles came over for a while. Once again the weather was so nice that we all played outside after I had my nap and lunch. My favorite thing to do outside right now is to just walk around with my ball. Mommy and daddy say I'm not at the sharing stage yet so I keep the ball all to myself and walk around. But I did get to demonstrate my soccer skills a little for everyone. Hopefully they come to visit again soon!

Time with Daddy

With mommy still really under the weather, daddy came home from work early today so mommy could get some rest. So daddy and I played and after both mommy and I had a nap daddy took me outside to enjoy the weather. Mommy thought the fresh air might help her too so she joined us, slippers and all, and took some pictures. Hopefully mommy feels up to letting me out tomorrow because I did not want to come inside. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! I know I'm a day late but I had a very busy day yesterday and didn't have time to post anything last night. ((And mommy is usually the one to help me and she is very sick right now so she said she needed to go to bed early last night to try and get better.)) I spent Easter at my grandma and papa's which was real fun. I got to see my cousin's and Auntie Chelle and open two Easter baskets. I got to eat turkey and mashed potato's for lunch and hunt all over for Easter eggs. I was quite tired when I got home and ready for bed. I hope your Easter was a fun as mine!

Brave Kitty

Now that I've learned how to say "hi kitty" I try to talk to Rose a lot. I sure do like to try and play with her but she really doesn't want to play with me. Mommy says not to worry though that Rose has made a lot of progress since they first brought me home and that someday she might play with me. A few weeks ago, right when I figured out how to say hi kitty, Rose showed how brave she is and she actually let me pet her for longer than five seconds. Although you can tell by her face that she is not really that happy, I had fun!

Tool Belt Dude

Recently mommy was adding toys to my "baby bag" of toys I don't play with anymore. As I was helping mommy go through things I became very interested in all the rings I have. Mommy connected them all together and I've had fun playing with them ever since. I pull them behind me and mommy connects stuffed animals to it and I pull them around which is great fun. Then she came up with the idea of wrapping it around my waist to form a tool belt, or something like it. Although it doesn't look like a tool belt at all and instead of tools hanging from it I have various sizes of measuring cups, I like wearing it and do so several times a day now. Daddy is a little concerned and said we need to immediately go out and look for a real tool belt. But until he finds one I guess I will make do with this one!

Yea, I'm tough.......

And they continue to stay one when stacking rings.
