What the??

Cereal.....not sure what this is all about but I guess mommy and daddy get to start feeding me this stuff. They got the okay last week at my four month checkup. Mommy says we're trying to get this figured out and that it's a slow process. Mommy was laughing so hard the first time she fed me cereal because of all the funny faces I was making at her. It's a messy process but mommy says we have to keep working at it and eventually I'll figure it out. Until then, I think I still prefer my bottle!

Swinging

On Wednesday the weather was so warm outside ((almost 80 degrees!!)) that mommy and I took advantage of it and played outside! We couldn't leave the house because mommy and daddy were having gutters installed, but we had fun anyway. Mommy and daddy's neighbor has a really big swing-set that we can use and she put a baby swing on it, just for me!! She is very nice and said we could use it anytime. So mommy put a new summer outfit on me, along with my new hat, and off we went!

4 Months

Today was my four month checkup and mommy and daddy took me to the doctor this morning. I weigh 16 lbs 12 oz and am 27 inches in length. My doctor says I am off the charts in length and she is sure I am with the right family because my daddy is so tall! Mommy says I am long and skinny as I hardly have any baby fat and she is sure that I do not get that from her. I had to get some shots which I did not like at all and I cried and screamed, but I soon settled down and fell asleep. Mommy and daddy can't believe how much I've grown and that four months have already passed. The good news is that I can now start eating some rice cereal and mommy and daddy are excited to see how that goes. Mommy says that she and daddy probably need to buy a highchair soon. How fast time goes by!

Construction Zone

Today was a busy day! Mommy and daddy ordered a pantry for the kitchen a few weeks ago and it was delivered earlier this week. Mommy was very excited when daddy said he would put it in today. We all helped daddy and although it took a while and the trim still has to be installed, we got it done! Mommy says this is the first home project to be complete before my baptism in June. Now she says we get to start painting so I guess I will get to help with that as well. With all this work, it makes for a busy day!

Future Minnesota Viking

Daddy loves the Minnesota Vikings football team, mommy loves them too, but daddy has been a fan forever. Yesterday mommy and I played dress up again. ((More sweater pictures are coming!)) She got me dressed up in one of my Vikings outfits that I have. Daddy was so happy when he came home and mommy showed him the pictures. We are only four short months away from pre-season and I think I'm set!! Monday night football here we come!!

Me and a Rose

So I have a big sister named Rose. Mommy and daddy got her in Arizona and they've had her for a while. Mommy said Rose was her baby before I came along. I didn't see a lot of Rose when I was first born. She wasn't too happy that I was here, but I think she's warming up now. Mommy was able to take this picture of me and my big sister!

Mommy says to notice that I am on one side of the railing and Rose is on the other, this is as close as she will get to me now. Maybe one day she'll let me play with her!

Say Cheese!

One of the things that mommy does a lot of is take my picture. A few weeks ago she started taking my picture with me wearing a lot of the hand made sweaters that people had made for me. She gets me all dressed up and puts me in a chair and tries to get me to smile and pose for her. I usually do alright in the beginning but after a few outfit changes I tell her that enough is enough. She said though that I'm growing so fast that she and daddy wanted to make sure I had pictures taken with all my special sweaters people worked hard on. Here are some of my best pictures...

Talkin' Time

Mommy and I usually spend our mornings talking about a lot of things. I love to talk and mommy and I spend most of our day talking about all sorts of things. Mommy and I were talking this morning about all the snow we are supposed to get. Mommy says she is ready for the snow to end and so am I. I can't go outside as much as I want too and there's so much for me to look at outside! Mommy was able to get some of my opinions about this weather on video. Spring.......I'm still waiting!!!

My Other Toy...

Mommy says I wasn't cooperating well for pictures so it took us a few days to get these. But I finally agreed to take pictures and wanted to show off my other favorite toy. This is my Jungle Mat. I can lay on it and play music if I get my hands to move just right. Mommy also uses this mat for tummy time as well. But I do not like tummy time, I would rather lay on my back and look around.

I'm also wearing a new pair of PJ's that mommy found in my closet. Last night mommy and daddy had to change me three times. They gave me a bath and mommy fed me and I decided I was too full and threw up all my milk. Mommy said today we would hang out in our jammies since she thought I wasn't feeling good. However, I think these pictures are cute and I'm smiling so I must be feeling better!

Come on Spring!

Mommy says we are ready for Spring! I think I am too, I've been outside a few times and like the fresh air. Mommy and daddy took me out about two weeks ago and put me in a sling that sits on daddy's chest. We had such a good time and I enjoyed it so much that I eventually fell asleep! Mommy says she's ready for it to be warm so she can take me out in my stroller and open all the windows in our house. Spring....please come soon!!

Jumperoo

So I now have a new favorite toy, it's my jumperoo. Mommy couldn't wait any longer and she finally took it out of my closet and put it together. I'm a little too small for it still so I have to sit in my seat with a pillow, but I love it! I love to kick my legs and my jumperoo lets me move all around and I can jump and dance and each time I move lights and music play. It's my new favorite toy!
