Neighborhood Lunch

Yesterday mommy, daddy and I were invited over to our neighbors across the street for lunch. Mommy and daddy were excited to have a chance to visit with them and I was excited to go over and play. We all had a real fun time and mommy says now we will be inviting them over to our house soon. Thanks for the lunch Pete & Jocelyn!

Here I am playing with their daughter Zara, she's showing me how to make music.

She also let me play with this firetruck which was real fun.

But I let her play with two trucks I brought over as well, I think she liked this one because it makes music.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! I hope everyone had as fun a day as I did. Mommy said for the first time in about four years, we did not have Thanksgiving at our house and she said it was a nice break. Instead, we went to my cousins who live in the same town as grandma and papa and had Thanksgiving there. Grandma said she was going to host but with her knee surgery she said it wasn't a good idea, so she and papa came just for dinner and then went home. I of course was too excited, didn't nap and could hardly eat anything. But it was still a great day!! Mommy says we're thankful that we have family to spend the day with and that we got to see everyone. We hope your Thanksgiving was just as fun!!

Here's Auntie Chelle and me in the car on the way over. We're singing along to songs.

Daddy with my cousins Shanelle and Carlie.

Playing with Haily and Logan. Logan is actually playing catch with daddy, I wasn't too sure about that.

Everyone's waiting to eat!!

Yummy turkey and stuffing.....I didn't eat much but mommy said I tried it all and it was good!

Still playing.......

Oh, and this Christmas tree was up and I had to check out all the lights.

Back at grandpa and papa's and changed for the ride home. Papa found this old school desk to have. I climbed right up and had fun driving my cars on the top.

Mommy says she wishes this were longer but this is the neighbor right across the street from grandma and papa. Papa says their 14 year old son sets the lights to the music. Mommy says we will get a longer video and post it later. The lights were so fun to watch!!!!

I'm Back!!!

Mommy says we're real sorry that we haven't posted anything for a while. But so much has happened in the last two weeks that we just didn't have time! First my Auntie Chelle moved into her apartment, then I got sick, then my grandma had knee surgery, daddy was in Phoenix for a few days and then mommy got sick! But mommy says were getting back to normal and can start posting on a regular basis.
I wanted mommy to upload a video of me dancing to my new favorite song, but mommy said after days of trying that she has given up and that apparently our computer or blogger doesn't like our videos right now so she said for me to choose something else. So instead I had mommy take pictures of me playing in my new, big play area.....my basement. It's not finished or anything but it's sure big and there's plenty of space for me to run around. Mommy spent about a month putting things away and cleaning it so I can use it this winter to run around in. All my big cars, balls, and soon my slide will be down there. I love running around and playing down there with all my toys. And mommy says she loves that I'm running off energy even better!
Today mommy got out her tub of old toys for me to play with. These little animals are sure fun to play with.
Fort Nolan has been moved down here and is covered with all my favorite stickers, I love crawling in it.
Pushing my car around all this open space is so much better than trying to push it around upstairs.
Playing kickball is another favorite sport of mine.
This is my turtle sandbox that I'll get to use this summer. Right now I just like taking the cover off and standing in it.

Even Rose comes down to play with me sometimes.....well she usually just runs away but mommy says she's doing better!

Lazy Sunday

The day after Halloween mommy, daddy and me went to spend the day at Grandma & Papa's. ((I know.....a little late on posting, but I'm busy!!)) It was such a nice day out that I played outside for a LONG time that day. Daddy stayed with me for a while, but then he went in to watch a pretty important football game. I guess the Vikings were playing the Packers in Wisconsin and it was a pretty important game. ((Mommy says I shouldn't brag about who won, that it's not polite. But go Vikings!!!)) So here's some of my outdoor fun:

Taking a little walk with daddy before he went to watch the game.
Papa is throwing leaves on me.

Stomping in all the leaves. Papa has a lot more leaves then we do & I sure had fun playing in them.
Papa's neighbor had this wagon full of leaves and they let me sit in it. I was in heaven.

Getting a closer look at some leaves.

Making My List

This morning mommy and I went to Target to do a little shopping. On our way home we stopped to get the mail and I was very excited to see that we had the Target Christmas Catalog in our mailbox. When we got home and got everything unloaded, mommy wanted to sit on the floor and look at the catalog. Instead I grabbed it and started looking through it myself. Oh the pages and pages of toys for me to look at. I was very interested in the first few pages and pointed several toys out to mommy for my birthday and Christmas presents. I'll just keep making my list and checking it twice!

I spent quite a while checking out this train table. I bet I could play with all my cars on that.

But this Spiderman thing is pretty neat too.

Still checking out that train table.......

Talking with mommy about what I want.

Halloween Fun

Yesterday was Halloween and what a completely fun-filled day I had!! Mommy took lots and lots of pictures to show what I was up too. I was hoping that we could celebrate Halloween once a month but sadly mommy said it only comes once a year. Oh well, I have lots of pictures to look at and another year to plan for a real fun day!!

My Halloween started out on Friday night. Here I am opening a little gift from my grandma and grandpa in South Dakota. See the little green and yellow cars? That's what I got and I think you can tell I'm excited!!!
Halloween!!! Mommy printed off a bunch of pictures to color.

Then it was time to carve our pumpkin. I wasn't so sure about the inside of the pumpkin. If you ask me it was kind of gross.

Um.....I'm not touching this stuff!!

Daddy and me looking at our pumpkin.

And what was I for Halloween?? Blue from Blues Clues of course!! Mommy borrowed this costume for me to wear and I LOVED IT.

Then I got to help daddy hand out candy.

Hello trick or treaters......where are you???

Checking out my goodies. Mommy only took me to six houses, more to show my costume off than anything. I can't eat the candy because of my allergies but two of my neighbors gave me yummy crackers which I could eat!

Then I got to end the night watching a Halloween episode of The Backyardigans. I know, not Blues Clues but there wasn't a Halloween one on! But this was just as good.

Here I am showing off my dancing & singing skills. What you don't see is me doing the same actions as the characters on the show. ((Mommy says to please don't think that all I do is watch this show. But months of me sitting and doing my daily Nebulizer treatments will make you pick up on a few things!!))
