Tissues & Tents

Mommy says we're behind on our posts, but we have good reason. All of us, daddy, mommy and me, are all sick. I got sick last Thursday and am still coughing and mommy and daddy got sick on Saturday. Mommy says she's been to a place called Walgreens every day for the last three days and she's tired of going. But she says we need to stock up on tissues, chicken noodle soup, humidifier filters and more tissues. I'm hoping to get over my cough soon so I can actually have a good night's sleep. Mommy says that if anyone has a good remedy out there to get rid of my cough to please let us know.

But now onto the fun stuff. On today's trip to Walgreens mommy had to buy a filter for my humidifier so she could set that up and in the clearance isle she found me an Elmo Play Tent that she knew I would love. So she bought it for me and we set it up at home. I had so much fun this morning climbing in and out and lifting it up that I can't wait to get up from nap to play with it more this afternoon!!

Touch-A-Truck

Last week mommy and daddy took me to something called Touch-A-Truck. It was being put on my our city and it's a chance for kids like me to get up close with trucks, snowplows, police cars and much more. It was a cold and rainy day so some stuff was outside and some was inside and I had to dress warm, but mommy said we needed to go and check it out.

Family Photos

About a month ago we had a Sunday that was family picture day. Mommy used the same photographer that we used before but this time we had Auntie Chelle, grandma and papa there. Mommy said it had been a really long time since we all had professional pictures taken so we had to get some done. It was a long day but I had fun running outside at the big park. Just the other day mommy got the CD's with all the pictures on them and here are some of my favorites!

Busy PGA Weekend

Mommy says we must apologize for not posting anything last week. We had a very busy week of people staying here because of something called the PGA that was going on very close to our house. I was a little confused and shy with all the people coming and going and it took me a while to warm up to everyone. But eventually I did and I sure had fun. Both mommy and daddy got to go to the PGA but mommy said I was too little and would be too loud to go so I stayed home. But maybe next time it's here I can go and check out that Tiger Woods guy!!

Playing with my Uncle Tim, he's tired after a very long day of walking. I don't know what he's complaining about, I walk and run all day long and don't get tired. I need to give him some tips maybe.

At The Mall

This morning mommy took me to the mall so I could run off some energy since we can't play outside because it's too wet and too hot. Mommy met a friend there and I got to run and climb on all the stuff. Some of the play area stuff was being cleaned so they didn't have it set up like the last time I went, but I had fun running and playing anyway!

And last night mommy said we had some pretty bad storms come through. She was sure I was going to wake up but I didn't! Mommy was up checking out the weather and took this video of the rain. She won't say what time this was at, just that it was very, very late.

Doing My Share

I love to help mommy and daddy do things around the house. I've become an expert at doing laundry, dusting, doing the dishes and my favorite is sweeping the floors. Of course I'm also an expert at throwing my puzzle pieces all over the floor, taking out every toy and not putting them back and coloring. ((Which I still don't have my crayons back after I colored on mommy's couch and threw them at Rose....)) So here's some proof that as daddy's says, "shows I'm spending WAY too much time with mommy."

Underwater World

On Thursday mommy and me along with Auntie Chelle and her two favorite girls from Fargo, Sasha and Alicia, made a trip to Mall of America and went to Underwater World. Sasha and Alicia have known Aunty Chelle a long time and they miss her since she doesn't live in Fargo any more so there were down here for a visit before they have to start school. So with coupons in tow, we all went to the mall. I had never been to this mall before but mommy said it was the biggest mall I would ever see. There were so many people there and so much to see that I'm glad I got to sit in my stroller and just watch. But the main event was Underwater World. I had SOOOO much fun watching all the fish and pointing to everything I could find and saying "Ohhhh" to every fish that swam by. Mommy says we will definitely have to go back soon!!
