Slip, Sliding, Fun

This afternoon I woke up from my nap to find that it was snowing out. I mean REALLY snowing out. So after lunch mommy brought out the best thing ever, a Judy blanket. Mommy will tell you that my grandma Judy is the best blanket maker ever. I have quite a few blankets she has made me and one in particular that has to go with me everywhere. But this was mommy's blanket and it's as big as our house. I think it's so funny to watch the blanket being pulled all over. So today mommy held the blanket, walked backwards and video taped me all at the same time as I followed the blanket or rode it. Either way, it was much better to slip & slide in the house than outside!

Sunday with Chelle

Yesterday mommy, daddy and I went over to grandma and papa's for breakfast. Mommy didn't tell me that my Auntie Chelle was there for a visit! My Auntie Chelle came down with her good friend Missy and her two daughters and it was sure fun to see them. I hadn't seen my Auntie Chelle since Christmas so it was sure good to see her and play. There were quite a few people there to play with me and I sure got tired, but I had fun as well!!

Here I am with mommy and Auntie Chelle playing with grandma's doors. I just LOVE to open and close them. But it makes you tired and when you fall down sometimes you just can't even get up to crawl!!

Low Rider

I bet you know what this is about!! Mommy says my tummy must be overflowing with liquids lately because my diapers have sure been wet. I know, exactly what everyone wants to hear about......diapers. Mommy says we might have to look into buying some special ones for me to wear at night because they are sure full!! Here I am last night right before mommy was going to give me a little bubble bath. I wasn't in the mood to pose for pictures as I wanted to play as long as I could. But if my diaper were any heavier I'd be dragging it on the floor!!

((And yes, just to clarify what everyone is thinking, I do get changed regularly. This diaper had barely been on me three hours!))

Feeding Time!

Mommy recently got me some new spoons and bowls to help me try and feed myself. She says a while ago she saw that my friend Abby's mommy had these bowls that would stick to anything and that it made eating so much easier. So mommy found some for me to try and boy do they work! I've really started feeding myself a lot more now that mommy doesn't have to hold the bowl for me. I still like to put my fingers in the food and "play" as mommy says, but it's a start.

I also got to try a little taste of a popsicle on Sunday which was sooooooooo yummy. Daddy had to have something called a Colonoscopy done yesterday and he couldn't eat for a long time. He could have jello, which I also tried and liked, and popsicles. I sure enjoyed trying the popsicle but daddy said he just enjoyed being able to eat again.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!! Mommy says we're sorry we haven't posted anything this week, but she says it's been a busy week of doctor's appointments and an unusual week of not many new exciting things happening. Mommy says to please keep reading and we hope to have some fun stuff to share next week.


In the meantime, we hope everyone gets to spend the day with their loved one(s). Have a great day!

Warming Up

Well, it's Monday afternoon and my house is finally starting to warm up. Sometime during the night this past Thursday mommy discovered our furnace quit working. I wasn't sure what that meant but I can tell you that mommy was not happy. So mommy and I went to my grandma and papa's house for the weekend while daddy stayed at the house and tried to keep it, himself, and Rose warm. But now we have heat again and mommy says once everything warms up we will have something to blog about. So stay tuned........and warm.

Mommy's Helper

I love to walk around and help mommy do things during the day. One of my favorite things to do is to help her with the dishwasher. I also LOVE to help mommy when she sweeps the floor. She said she had to quit cleaning the floors when I'm up because I like to play with the broom and dirty dustpan. So yesterday while shopping, mommy bought me my very own little broom and dustpan. I immediately started cleaning the floors and kept at it for almost two hours!! Mommy says she will take all the help she can get and that she knew I would take after her, daddy is hoping that will change.
