Memorial Weekend

Mommy, daddy and I spent Memorial Weekend at home just the three of us and it was perfect!! Mommy says we weren't going to go anywhere and we just spent time relaxing. On Saturday Grandma, Papa and Auntie Chelle came over for a BBQ, but I had a date that afternoon with my friend Zara. She lives across the street and she invited me over to try her pool for the first time. Although I wasn't about to get in the water ((mommy says we're having bathtub issues and I refuse to take a bath with any sort of toy)) I did have fun playing and visiting. On Sunday & Monday we just hung out and went for walks and mommy and daddy took me to two different parks to play that are close to my house. All in all it was a very relaxing weekend and we hope you had the same!!

Um, I WILL NOT get in the water, but I sure had fun dumping water out.

Then daddy got this squirt gun which I thought was so fun to play with.

Now it's onto my new favorite sport, baseball which I want to play all the time.

Shopping for Rose

Last week mommy and I were out and about and mommy said we needed to go shopping for Rose. I got really excited because I love shopping for Rose. It means we go to my favorite store, Petco!!! And on this day mommy just happened to have her camera with her and she said it was okay to take a few pictures:

Mommy said the little carts are why I love coming here so much. Mommy says if she ever finds one for sale she might buy it. I just love pushing these around!

Of course a trip is never complete without looking at all the fish.

Let's Go Fly A Kite!!

This past weekend it was really windy out. But that didn't bother me because I was just excited to get to play outside and not watch it rain. Mommy said it was perfect kite flying weather and she just happened to have a kite for me to try and fly. I was very determined to fly it myself and I did not want any help. It sure is hard to fly a kite, but after a few tries I think I did pretty well!!

Goodbye School!

On Tuesday night mommy and me went to school for an end of the year party. I was sure excited to go back and see my teachers and play with some stuff. ((And not to mention have my very first ice cream sandwich which was AWESOME!!!!)) I got to play in my classroom that I've been in, but I also got to go into some of the other rooms which was really fun. Mommy says that I'll be in summer school this summer and then next year it's off to a "pre" preschool twice a week for me. I just have so much fun playing there that I can't wait to go back!!

Lellow flows

Last week mommy and I were playing outside and all over our yard were these pretty "lellow flows" ((as I call them...)) I asked mommy if I could pick some and she said yes, and off to work I went. Mommy later told me they are called dandelions and when she was little, she thought they were pretty too and she used to pick bunches and bunches of them for grandma. Mommy says to this day when she sees them, she still gets an urge to pick some give them to grandma. Well, just like mommy when she was little, I picked bunches and bunches of them and gave them all to mommy. I sure had fun running around the yard, and mommy says she had the prettiest flowers ever.

"Hmmm..........this looks like a good one."
